Semi-Conductive Coatings

Meyer Products has been providing semi-conductive coating to the wire and cable industry since 1971. Two semi-conductive coatings are available:

1. Formulation 252: A semi-conductive polymeric coating that is a blend of a co-polymer, tackifiers and compatible solvents and applied directly over cable insulation and which is compatible with all types of extruded insulation. It is an accepted method of manufacturing discharge-free cable with excellent electrical integrity.  

2. Formulation 165: A controlled conductive coating for measuring electrical resistance, corona testing, testing for apparent discharge characteristic, (ionization levels), and for D-C impulse testing.
